The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, meticulous and enthusiastic Research Technician to lead neural data collection for the company. You will be the primary front-facing representative interacting with study participants.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a meticulous and professional candidate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The role also includes operational and coordination responsibilities, such as:

  • Owning daily and weekly data collection throughput targets.
  • Maintaining accurate participant records.
  • Logging, tracking, and reporting technical events affecting data collection.
  • Troubleshooting workflow bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to:
    • Hardware and software issues
    • Sources of environmental interference compromising data integrity
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, neuroscientists and AI researchers.
  • Keeping participants calm and focused while troubleshooting a sensor under a tight schedule.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in Psychology, Neuroscience, Therapy, Rehabilitation, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychological testing.
  • 1-2+ years of hands-on experience operating EEG hardware.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced clinical research lab where you had to wear multiple hats.
  • Experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) when interacting with participants.
  • Experience administering neuropsychological questionnaires in research or clinical settings.
  • Experience helping build and execute end-to-end participant recruitment pipelines.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000
